Before writing any issue about the rules. Everyone must consider as this is Garena Rules only apply at Garena ladder.*This Rules Doesn't Apply to DotA mygarena.com room. Please to be ensure.

Most of us Eager  to get started. Some of you may not really sure about what is ladder or what so miracle about it? Here some fact for it.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Ladder is some kind of ranking (If you had ever played before FPS or RPG games, You should know what is Ranking). With Garena DotA Ladder, you can now keep track and measure your skills!

Ladder record every games you played with your freinds, during a public game, anything... as long you aboey the rules.

1) The points you earn/lose in Garena DotA Ladder is different from standard Garena EXP (experience). Playing Ladder game does not affect your normal Garena EXP;
2) Your DotA statistics and ladder ranking is recorded when you join and play DotA in any ladder rooms;
3) To win a ladder game, either your team destroys the throne/world tree or all of your opponents quit/drop;

4) If the host quits or drops, the host team lose;
5) If the game lasts for less than 5 minutes, the game will not be recorded;(Much people didn't reliese this also. Be in mind that 5 min anyone leave can be Remake.)

6) If the game ends abnormally (e.g. host quits), the result may not be counted immediately, a 15-45 minutes delay is expected;
7) The number of players need to be equal on both sides when the game starts, otherwise the game will not be counted;
8) Only the following game modes are not supported: -dm, -sp, -cm;(For Now it also doesn't support -so mode, many host still didnt' reliase. Please be in mind)

9) 5v5 game carries more weightage compared with 4v4 game, 4v4 game carries more weightage compared with 3v3 game and so on;

10) If you are playing against opponents of higher Dota Ladder level, more points will be credited if you win and less points will be deducted when you lose; if you are playing against opponents of lower level, less points will be credited when you win and more points will be deducted when you lose;

11) Leavers are penalized by huge point deductions, the earlier you leave, the more points you lose.

May these Rules will answer your Question on any situation. If any wrong or mistaken please place a comment to notify me.

  1. Where did you get this info?

    So if I leave a game that I'm hosting because someone else left and everyone wants a remake, does that count as a loss on my part??

  4. so that's why hosts drop hack, since he just needs his opponents to all "drop" and win, no matter how bad he's losing. They need to change that system, because all DC on mine were drop-hacked.
